Rachel and Andrew’s Rain or Shine Palmetto Riverside Outdoor Ceremony

We have all heard the old wives tales about rain on your wedding day and we can only believe that for Rachel and Andrew, the rain shower that graced their outdoor ceremony at the beautiful Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast was a downpour of good luck to a long and happy marriage. With the unbelievable team at Ashton Events making sure that even with the snag due to the weather, thew wedding ran perfectly and just as Rachel and Andrew had envisioned it. Sunglow Photography did an amazing job capturing the details of the day.

Prior to the ceremony, Rachel and Andrew shared a tender moment as they met for their first look. It was a sweet and intimate moment beautifully captured.

With our white folding chairs set up for the ceremony facing the Manatee River, the guests arrived as the rain drops began to fall. As a typical Florida shower does, it lasted just enough to dampen everything except for the spirits of the bride and groom. Rachel and Andrew stood in front of their family and friends and vowed a lifetime of love and happiness to one another and then sealed it with a sweet kiss.

The reception tent was filled with romantic florals and beautiful gold candelabras. Our classic gold Belmont chargers, and gold flatware sat at each place setting, with mahogany Chiavari chairs completing the look. The ambiance was a romantic secret garden and as they took to the dance floor for their first dance, the bride and groom dances as if they were the only two people at the beautiful Palmetto Riverside Bed & Breakfast.

The evening was filled with love and laughter, dancing and joy. The rain shower brought a refreshing and renewed beginning for Rachel and Andrew’s journey together. As they walked under the sparkler exit, hand in hand, the newlyweds beamed. It was an honor to be a part of their wedding day and the A Chair Affair teams wishes you many years of happiness!
