Where did you meet your fiancée, Alex? – We met at the JW Marriott, and through a mutual friend who set us up after Alex expressed to him he wanted to get to know me better.

How did you know he was the one for you? – Everything was easy. We had so much in common, and everyone around us could see it after spending just a few minutes together with us.

What are the things you have in common? – Our way of thinking, our mutual affection for each other, family values & the way we were brought up, our goals and expectations out of life.

How did Alex propose? – I have a childhood connection with Disney’s Polynesian Hotel. He told me we were going to dinner at Ohana’s. Upon our arrival, I was blindfolded at the hostess stand, and walked to a private beach between the Grand Floridian and the Polynesian Hotel. When we got to the beach, he took the blindfold off and he had set up a table for two overlooking the water and Cinderella’s Castle covered in rose petals, our own personal server…and photographers to capture every moment of it. Very romantic, very us, and of course..I said yes!

What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most? – Being married! And having all of our friends and family together in one room. Most of our closest friends and family don’t live in Orlando, so being able to see everyone at the same time is very exciting.

What inspired your wedding colors? – I saw a wedding a few years back that was dark purple and it seemed so elegant. Purple and gold are also very romantic colors, and that’s what this day is all about.
