Stunning Vintage Citrus-Themed Wedding Reception
Erinn and Brendan are the kind of couple that everyone wants to know. Their cheerful, playful love radiates out from them both, and they infused their St. Petersburg wedding with their bright personalities. Their ceremony was at the lovely Sunken Gardens, and then they moved to The Morean Center to eat, drink, and be merry with their friends and family. To accomplish this task, they enrolled the help of Amber Veatch Designs, who coordinated their Sunken Gardens wedding and Morean Center wedding reception with impressive attention to detail. With Laura Foote Photo and Scott Patterson Video there to capture each moment, they will be smiling at their lovely wedding for years to come.
A vintage dusty blue was the color of the night, a perfect choice for the vintage Florida feel. Erinn’s stunning bridal gown was chosen from the White Magnolia Bridal Collection. The bride and her bridesmaids were treated to Lasting Luxe Hair and Makeup‘s artistry.
A festive chandelier of greenery and oranges hung from the ceiling, giving the whole room a whimsical touch. The earthy colors of the French country chairs balanced the bright blues and oranges throughout the space.
An eclectic mix of glassware and dinnerware provided by Treasury Rentals enhanced the tablescape’s fresh look. With gorgeous geometric vases alongside vintage pieces, the decor was a modern yet timeless look. The calligraphy created by Old City Calligraphy topped off the theme beautifully.
Each centerpiece was a wild and wonderful mix of lush greenery and blooms, exquisitely created by 2 Birds Events & Florals. The floral design accompanied by halved oranges scattered throughout provided a soft and natural focus for the reception.
Erinn and Brendan wanted their table to be a sweet focal point of the room, and they achieved exactly that with our hedge wall creating a tall presence. They chose our mahogany sweetheart table to echo the rustic woodtones used throughout the room.
The happy couple laughed and danced along with their friends, with some help from Hub Tap Tampa and Spunky Spirits Bartending with tunes provided by DJ Cory Barron.
The reception space was open and airy—perfect for their reception—but they wanted to provide cozy nooks for their guests to relax as well. To create a lounge area in their reception, they decided on some beautiful wedding furniture rentals. Our vintage settee, Nellie, provided a light and neutral centerpiece, while the Sara chairs accented the space with their peachy pink upholstery. Capped with Daniel end tables, the sitting area was a peaceful spot for guests during the reception!
After noshing on some delicious catering stations provided by Spotlight Catering, guests were treated to a beautiful cake and a fun dessert option: a froyo bar from Happy Cow Froyo!
Erinn and Brendan’s enchanting St. Petersburg wedding was bursting with personality, and we are thrilled we were there to celebrate with them. Congratulations to the happy couple!
