From Vienna with Love: A Global Adventure Begins

Because they share a passion for adventure, they have explored the world together by plane, train, car, and even motorcycle. Now, they are preparing for their most significant expedition yet: marriage.
Where did you meet your fiancée?
We met while working for the United Nations in Vienna, Austria. I was new in town, he invited me to a Eurovision watch party, and the rest was history.
How did you know he was the one for you?
From the moment we met, we were practically inseparable. Even before we started dating, we’d have conversations for hours and ignore everyone else! We still haven’t run out of things to talk about.
What are the things you have in common?
We both love going on adventures! We’ve traveled together by plane, train, car, and even motorcycle. We’re so excited to spend the rest of our lives exploring more of the world. Our honeymoon will take us to the island of Madagascar!
How did he propose?
He proposed by creating a custom crossword puzzle for me. The final answer was “will you marry me?” but I had to solve the whole puzzle first before I was able to solve that clue.
What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?
Gathering all our friends from the US and Europe, being together with family, and lots of dancing!
What inspired your wedding colors?
We married in January, so despite the balmy Florida weather, I wanted deep, rich reds and greens to match the holidays. I knew I wanted red roses and a red velvet cake, and all the rest came together from there!
