Meet Allison and Clayton, our March Wedding Rental Winners! UCF brought these two lovebirds together, and their hearts overflow with love for animals. Now, read on for a surprise proposal and learn more about this winning couple.
Where did you meet your fiancée?
To begin, Clayton and I met while in college at UCF. I hate to use the cliche, but we were college sweethearts and inseparable after our first date. Our first date was at mellow mushroom (a popular pizza spot) & we sat in a booth for hours talking about anything and everything and eventually were kicked out as the staff had to close.
How did you know he was the one for you?
After meeting his family I witnessed how family oriented he was. Clayton is such a caring, nurturing, and thoughtful man and I fell in love immediately.
What are the things you have in common?
We both are animal lovers and Clayton has to stop me from bringing home stray dogs or adopting a friend for our 4 year old Aussiedoodle, Oakley, on a daily basis. However, we will be adding onto our family with another fur-baby after the wedding – rest assured I’ve gotten it in writing!
How did he propose?
He planned a photoshoot at Leu Gardens which he disguised as “Christmas card photos”. Midway through the shoot I was told to turn around and saw him on one knee. Easiest yes & most magical moment of my life 🙂
What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?
I am most looking forward to joining our two very large families together. As well as celebrating our love alongside them and our closest friends.
What inspired your wedding colors?
I always have been in love with classic designs and colors. We are having a romantic and timeless wedding with our colors consisting of black and white with a small pop of emerald green.
