It’s always a thrill to announce our monthly wedding winners, and this June, Brittany and Sheema have claimed the coveted $500 discount on their dream wedding rentals from A Chair Affair! Their journey began not once, but twice, proving that fate has a funny way of bringing people together. They initially crossed paths during Sheema’s physical therapy for an ankle injury, and then, years later, Bumble orchestrated their heartfelt reunion after they had unknowingly circled each other for ages.
Where did you meet your fiancée?
We met twice actually, once while getting physical therapy on Sheema’s ankle(Brittany was not the physical therapist) and we reconnected again years later on bumble after years of circling each other.
How did you know she was the one for you?
We knew we were the one for each other when everything we were going through aligned, Sheema would say she knew right away, Brittany it took her a few months.
What are the things you have in common?
We both love sports and the outdoors and would do anything for our families.
How did she propose?
Sheema proposed first in surprise fashion at BOK towers surrounded by family and friends in early March 2024. Brittany pulled the proposal the sequel in April 2024 by getting Sheema’s closest friends out to Mt. Dora to surprise her at one of their favorite locations on the lake.
What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?
Looking forward to seeing Brittany walk down the aisle and having all of our family and friends there to witness our families joining together.
What inspired your wedding colors?
We both naturally love the fall and have always loved more earth tone colors while keeping it light with a spring wedding. We wanted the natural beauty of the venue to shine with the added colors we chose.
