This Atlanta couple is set to marry under the Florida sunshine in Pointe Vedra Beach this May. Their love of football brought the couple to cross paths and it was love at first sight! Where did you meet Chris?
Chris and I met at an Atlanta Falcons tailgate through his sister who was a friend of mine. At first I thought he was her date…but I was pleasantly suprised to find out they were brother and sister! It was love at first sight!
How did you know he was the one for you?
There was that initial spark and chemistry that we had never felt before. Chris is the most amazing man I have ever met. He puts his family first, is an incredible father, makes me feel like the most special and beautiful woman in the world, and he’s my best friend!
What are the things you have in common?
We both love spending time with our families, football (especially the Alanta Falcons!), traveling, running and working out, Mexican food, and good wine!
How did Chris propose?
My parents and I both have condo’s in Ponte Vedra Beach, which is our home away from home. We have been vacationing there for over 20 years so it’s a very special place for us. Chris proposed at the beach. He had bought a beautiful butterfly kite (butterflies are special to my family and represent our “angels” in heaven”). Before flying the kite, he slipped the engagement ring on the tail of kite. When he handed me the tail the ring slid down to me, he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! I was thoroughly shocked! Through tears and laughter I of course responded YES!
