Epic love: An Intimate Mountain Lake Wedding at the Colony House
Marybeth and Patrick are true high school sweethearts; they met on their first day of freshman year, and so, their love story was born. Years later, we came together with a fantastic team of vendors to give them the wedding of their dreams, an intimate Mountain Lake wedding at The Colony House.
Every little detail was just right, chosen to create an unforgettable and heartfelt day. With the bride’s mother overseeing it all, we knew we were in good hands! Jensen Larson Photography followed the proceedings every step of the way, capturing it all for a lifetime of precious memories.
Marybeth glowed as she walked down the aisle; everything from her makeup and hair to her gown was exactly as she’d envisioned, and Patrick was clearly awestruck! Surrounded by their nearest and dearest, the bride and groom finally exchanged I Do’s.
Once these two were officially husband and wife, it was time to celebrate their sweet love story with an enchanting indoor reception. Marybeth and Patrick wanted their wedding rentals to be elegant but still stand out, and we think we succeeded!
Our couple dined at a whitewashed farm table, seated in matching Chiavari chairs with orange pads for a bright pop of color. Soft florals and greenery from Raining Roses Productions complemented these tones beautifully, transforming the room into an enchanted wood.
The rest of the evening was a party for the ages, as guests took to the dance floor, made memories, and stopped by the Cosmo bar for drinks, taking a break in the Chiavari barstools to rest their tired toes.
