Vintage Styled Shoot at Howey Mansion
When we were invited to partner with the amazing team on this vintage styled shoot, we were so excited! The Howey Mansion is the perfect “something old” to compliment all of the “something new” that a wedding brings. This historic venue has a sweet spot in our hearts and we always love working at this picturesque venue. Working alongside the talented Flora Bloom Photography and I Do Events and Party Rentals was icing on the cake!
To kick off the shoot, we needed to set the stage. Wedding invitations are the first hint of the theme for the guests, and it gives them a taste as to what’s to come. Robbin’s Nest Design Studio provided a beautiful first glimpse into the rich mustard and vintage florals that awaited. The vintage floral blooms on the stationary mimicked the bride’s bouquet and decors perfectly. We definitely would want an invite to this wedding.
Talk about a beauty! Olivia Bowen Bridal and Once Upon a Beauty worked together to give our bride a beautiful boho look. Her a soft side ponytail accompanied the vintage, yet modern dress perfectly. The gown’s bell sleeves and train combined with the character of the mansion’s staircase was dramatic!. The soft greenery of the cascading bouquet by Le Fleur Atelier added a touch of whimsy to tie it all together.
Headed outside of the Howey Mansion for the reception, our French Country Chairs made a statement all their own gathered around our earthy and inviting Monaco Table. Our gold, glass Filigree Chargers added texture to the table setting and brought out the formal elegance of the design inspiration. The bohemian floral design was brought to the table as well, paired with a soft marigold tinted muslin runner.
We cannot forget the cake! Le Petit Sweet‘s three tiered buttercream cake in the beautiful signature marigold color stood majestically on our Vintage Cherry Hexagon End Table. Dripping with gorgeous vintage florals and sweet citrus, this was the perfect ending to a perfect day.
