Shaunnah & Bruce
Do you know what happens when you give us a few days of 75 degrees, no humidity weather? We start dreaming about outdoor weddings! Garden weddings! Beach weddings! Rooftop weddings! The list goes on and on. And one of our favorite outdoor wedding venues is The Mulberry at New Smyrna. A gorgeous, traditional Florida-style barn with a modern twist is perfect to satisfy our outdoor wedding cravings. And it was the dream venue for Shaunnah and Bruce’s Florida boho wedding.
Shaunnah and Bruce met with their wedding dream team with overflowing ideas. First, was Envy Lifestyle & Event Design. This wedding planning powerhouse knows every trick in the book. And they know just what keeps couples “cool, calm and collected” on their wedding day. And that makes the job of photographer Aisles & Ivy so much easier. A relaxed bride is a photogenic bride.
Florida Boho Wedding Ceremony
But we can’t talk about photos of Shaunnah and Bruce’s Florida boho wedding, without talking about the tiny stars of the shows. With some of the most important jobs of the day, one might say. These ring bearers knew the significance of their jobs. And they took on the responsibility with pride and determination.
And not to be outshone, the precious flower girls were the final opening act before the entrance of the bride. While the young boys brought seriousness, these young ladies brought a delicate softness that was ideal for Shaunnah’s processional.
Under the moss-covered oak tree, a metal arch marked the spot where Shaunnah and Bruce would meet. Gather & Grace Designs crafted an elegant bohemian floral arrangement. It was reflective of the bouquets that the bride and her bridesmaids carried. Creamy white floral and green eucalyptus joined with springs of dried pampas grasses.
Paired with the olive green satin dresses worn by the bridesmaids, it was the perfect Florida boho wedding come to life!
With their friends and family watching, Shaunnah and Bruce held hands and proclaimed their love for each other. And when the officiant pronounced them “husband and wife” the guests jumped to their feet and cheered the happy couple.
Better Together Boho Reception
After the ceremony, it was time to party! The rustic, yet modern Florida-style barn was made for this boho dream wedding. Farm tables were topped with gauzy runners and custom greenery made by the talented Garlands by Greenlunds.
The Florida boho style was mixed into the decor. We loved the creamy white vases filled with ornamental dried grasses and feathers. To bring the modern twist, a neon sign framed the backdrop of the sweetheart table.
At each place setting, our gold rim glass chargers greeted the guests. The glass and gold design were an ideal match with the Florida boho and farmhouse wedding layout. Completing the look, our grace etched water glass, and gold rim stemware were added to the place setting.
There are so many details about the day that we can’t stop talking about. From their gorgeous wedding cake from 4 Rivers Specialty Cakes. To the yummy sweet treats from Sunset Creamery Ice Cream Cart. These two definitely knew how to make their wedding guests happy!
Save the Last Dance
As the night went on, the guests began to pack up. But the bride and groom stayed back to share in a private last dance. In the empty reception hall, Shaunnah and Bruce danced as if they were the only two people on earth. This is a tradition that we highly recommend to all couples.
When the music ended, the newlyweds made their way outside. Meanwhile, their wedding guests held sparklers high to send them off into their happily ever after. Their Florida boho wedding came to an end, and now is a memory to cherish for a lifetime.
