“The details are not the details. They make the design.” American designer and architect, Charles Eames gave us this ever so true statement, and this notion could not apply more to Robin and Cesar’s wedding celebration. An Affair to Remember designed and created an elegantly understated and detail-oriented event for the newlyweds. Kristen Weaver Photography artfully captured every tiny touch of this sophisticated plantation style wedding.
The outdoor ceremony took place on the impeccably manicured grounds of the Cypress Grove Estate House. Guests were welcomed to the affair with custom, chalkboard easel signs, handcrafted by artists from Do Tell Calligraphy. Lee Forrest Design breathed new life into the classic use of red and white roses. These breathtaking bouquets overflowed with blossoming buds, deeps shades of Merlot and purple, soft hues of cream and coral, and layered with lush greenery.
The reception was where the smallest details gave life to the overall design. The rustic vintage décor was the ultimate marriage of textures and style. Our French Country Chairs coupled with our Rustic Farm Tables provided that plantation vibe, while the same chairs paired with champagne satin linens oozed country chic style. When talking details, we can’t forget to mention the individually sized honey jars situated at each place setting with the greeting “Robin and Cesar, meant to bee.” This wedding was the perfect design of refined rustic meets understated elegance.
Congratulations to Robin and Cesar on a stunning wedding day. We wish you an even more beautiful life together!
