A Plum Boho Wedding at The Acre Orlando

Every detail of this Plum Boho Wedding was perfection for Abby and Zac at The Acre Orlando. The color plum took center stage in the florals, bridesmaid’s dresses, table settings, and even the groom’s suit. The outdoor venue of The Acre was a stunning backdrop for their big day and Ashton Events made sure every aspect was flawless. Renee Nicole Photography captured these gorgeous images. A Reflection of Them

Abby and Zac wanted their big day to reflect their unique personality. Their wish was to make their wedding feel like their own magical Abby and Zac world. The Acre Orlando as their venue was a perfect choice. The outdoor location set the laid back boho vibe just right. Abby wanted Zac to feel completely involved in planning their day. Since Zac’s favorite color is plum, they made that the highlight. Zac even wore it as his suit color. Since the ceremony and reception were both held outside, the color plum popped beautifully against all the greenery.

The unique florals were also created by Ashton Events and included plum, burgundy, and violet accents with classic roses. These amazing deep and robust colors made for absolutely stunning bouquets for the bride and her bridesmaids. We couldn’t get enough of them!

An Outdoor Boho Ceremony

The couple was married on a stage set before a garden paradise. Our boho bamboo folding chairs were a beautiful complement to the earth-toned colors. The stage was kept understated with pampas grasses in vases and timeless cream flowers. This allowed for the wedding party to really shine in their beautiful plum dresses and bold bouquets while keeping the boho vibe. It was a wonderful balance of color and textures.

Elegant Laid Back Reception

Because the weather looked iffy that morning, Abby and Zac made the quick decision to add a tent to the reception area. Our bamboo folding chairs provided the perfect neutral seating while the plum accents continued throughout with the table decor, napkins, and goblets. This again allowed for the casual boho feel to immerse the guests which is exactly what Abby and Zac had envisioned. It was perfect!

A Romantic Table for Two

Abby and Zac wanted their first meal as husband and wife to feel more intimate. They set up this special space with a sweetheart table for just the two of them. Their place setting was elegant with black chargers and lots of votive candles to add a romantic glow to the table. The perfect place to share their first meal.

Sweet Treats and Candy Dreams

They were also adamant that they did not want the traditional wedding cake. Instead, they combined all their favorite treats onto one table for guests to enjoy. They had quite the spread of donuts, donut holes, and lots of candy. Who doesn’t love a dessert buffet?

One last element of uniqueness was the incorporation of some colored smoke canisters. Such a fun idea for some really amazing photos! Congratulations to the happy couple. It was an honor to work with you for your plum boho wedding!
