Will was preparing for a move to Alabama just days after their first date. They became inseparable. Consequently, they quickly realized their bond was unlike any other. They discovered deep common ground. Sharing a commitment to family and friends above all else, and a love for travel and adventure. However, they are just as content enjoying a laid-back, lazy day at home with their beloved cats. The connection was clear and profound, leading Mary to understand, instantly, that Will was the one.

Where did you meet your fiancée?
We met at a coffee shop when we were both attending school in downtown Athens, and even though we grew up in the same hometown and shared plenty of mutual friends, we somehow had never crossed paths until then.
How did you know he was the one for you?
From the moment we met, we were completely hooked. We planned to go on one date before Will moved to Alabama just a few days later, but after that first date, we were inseparable
What are the things you have in common?
We’re both very family- and friend-oriented and love spending time with our people. We share a love of adventure and traveling, but we’re just as happy spending a lazy day on the couch with our cats.
How did he propose?
Will proposed on the steps of a beautiful historic home overlooking downtown Macon- our shared hometown and the place where we unknowingly first crossed paths. My family helped him stage a “family photo shoot,” pretending they were running late… but they were never coming! After I said yes, we met about 60 of our family and friends at a restaurant for the best surprise celebration ever.
What part of the wedding day are you looking forward to most?
We’re most looking forward to having an entire weekend of fun surrounded by all the people we love most.
What inspired your wedding colors?
We wanted our colors, pink and green, to reflect the vibe of our day: fun, joyful, and bright!
