Hosted at the magnificent Waldorf Astoria Orlando, this gala successfully blended nostalgic fun with serious philanthropic purpose.

First, from the moment guests stepped inside, the event designer, Wizard Connection, created instant engagement. A dramatic entrance, featuring large-scale signage and a balloon installation, immediately set the tone. Furthermore, the walls became a historical tapestry. Additionally, draped with massive Time/Life Magazine covers that paid homage to the decade’s biggest moments. Event Planner Whitney Carillon Events perfectly orchestrated every detail. Therefore, ensuring the transition from cocktail reception (featuring a striking Founders Reception entrance) to the main ballroom was seamless and thrilling.

Strategic Style: Our Themed Rentals

Next, successfully executing a theme like the 1960s requires careful selection of foundational pieces. Thus, A Chair Affair met this challenge by providing key rentals that anchored the visual design. All while offering comfort and high-end style. Therefore, our inventory provided variety. Thus, allowing the design team to create distinct zones within the ballroom.

Additionally, for the main seating, we supplied hundreds of classic Black and White Chiavari Chairs and Black and White Wysteria Chairs. Which immediately evoked the mod, graphic aesthetic of the era. These contrast chairs perfectly framed the tables. Providing visual interest across the sprawling ballroom.

Moving beyond the dinner tables, the event featured various high-end elements, including a bustling bar area. Here, our Black Chiavari Barstools with Black and White Pads offered comfortable, thematic seating. The table designs truly brought the theme home. Instead of traditional chargers, the designers utilized custom-made record chargers. Brilliantly supported by our sleek Black Deco and shimmering Silver Glitter Spiral Chargers.
