Blush by Brandee Gaar perfectly planned Christina and Joe’s springtime wedding. Having someone there to help make decisions and bring your vision to life is a must. When choosing a venue they wanted to go somewhere that allowed them to have the ceremony outside, and then continue the party inside. The Alfond Inn was the perfect choice. Additionally, Kristen Weaver Photography captured all the precious moments from the day, giving them everlasting memories to hold on to. Let’s dive into this Fuchsia Wedding at The Alfond Inn and get a closer look at all the details that went into making this a perfect wedding day.

The wedding attire

When deciding on a color theme for the wedding the bride wanted to add a pop of fun color into the mix. Fuchsia was the perfect bold color to choose for this springtime wedding. Her bridesmaids all wore long fuchsia-colored dresses in different styles. Then paired with an all-white floral bouquet with added greenery to pull the look together. Next, the bride went with a timeless elegant dress that cinched in her middle and cascaded out at the bottom—leaving her looking stunning. For her bouquet, different shades of pink were scattered throughout the white flowers to tie in the color theme. Lastly, the groom went with your classic black and white suit. While adding on a fuchsia-colored flower for his boutonniere to match his stunning bride.

First look

Joe stood outside The Alfond Inn with his back turned in the direction his bride would be entering. Waiting in anticipation, Christina walks toward her future husband. She turns him and his face lights up at the sight of his beautiful bride. The couple embrace and share a tender moment between the two of them. Then the two depart and anxiously wait for the ceremony to begin so they can finally be husband and wife.

Ceremony

The outdoor ceremony is stunningly set up. With the Alfond Inn’s glass-domed building in the background, and a circular arch decorated beautifully with flowers at the forefront. Lee James Designs created this arch with white and pink flowers and greenery throughout, capturing the outdoor beauty and styling in the fuchsia-colored wedding theme. Joe stood in front of the arch anxiously awaiting his bride. When Christina enters guests stand and look on in awe of her beauty. The couple stand and express their love to one another. Then they are pronounced husband and wife and share their first kiss.

Reception

Upon entering the room, you’re greeted with a magnificent ambiance. Pink backlighting against the walls, stunning floral centerpieces surrounded by candles, and a three-layered cake displayed in front of the floral circular arch. Round tables are scattered throughout draped in white linens, making the pink floral centerpieces pop even more. Our Mahogany Chiavari Chairs and White Pads surround each table. Along with our Gold Rimmed Stemware, and Gold Rimmed Chargers adorning the tables. Table cards are placed on each table addressing who should be sat where along with a fuchsia-colored card containing the menu for the night.

The party

The wedding reception was a joyous celebration filled with laughter, dancing, and heartfelt speeches. Guests feasted on delicious cuisine, raised their glasses in toasts to the happy couple, and shared memories. Then during the night, the dance floor was alive with energy as loved ones swayed to the music provided by the amazing band C’Nergy, creating an atmosphere of pure joy and love. All in all, it was a night that would be remembered.
