Throwback to last years Halloween where Erika and Dustin chose the spookiest day of the year to tie the knot. Undoubtedly, there’s nothing better than celebrating your wedding day on one of your favorite holidays. To begin, Enchanted Events planned the perfect Spooky Wedding at The Orlando Science Center. In addition, Wedding Sidekicks captured all the spectacular moments of the day. Let’s take a closer look at how the big day panned out.

Getting pampered

Erika and her girlfriends had the best time preparing for her big day. They shared black matching pajamas while they got ready, with the brides being covered in bats, to go along with the spooky theme of the day. Then, they shared a toast in their custom Halloween cups to share their excitement for what was to come. While getting ready Erika went with a black smoky eye and a bold red lip. Her wedding dress was a beautiful flowing gown with lace detailing on the top and a veil with a long train. As for Dustin, he wore a black suit, with a jacket having a pattern on it. Along with a purple vest, and tie to match the flowers in her bouquet.

First Look

With sunlight filtering through the glass windows lining the hallway Erika and Dustin prepared for their private reveal to one another. Standing at the end of the hallway with his back turned Dustin waits for his bride. Then, as she turned him around his face lit up with excitement as he looked upon his gorgeous bride.

The walk to I Do

The ceremony took place in a darkened room with the backdrop of a full moon at the forefront—guests filed in preparing to watch the happy couple tie the knot. To begin, the wedding party walked down the aisle in their black suits and gowns. Then, it was time for Erika’s grand entrance. Everyone stood as she entered and walked down the aisle escorted by her parents. Her father handed her off to her future husband. As they held hands in front of the beautiful full moon, they shared their vows and said I Do. Then, it was finally time to share a kiss with his wife.

Cocktail Hour

Following the ceremony was the cocktail hour, which gave everyone a small break before the reception. Taking place on the rooftop, with the sun setting in the background and lights hanging overhead it was a sight to see. While small appetizers and drinks were being served, some animals were brought out. Including a small baby alligator and a turtle!

Reception Details

Walking into the reception area you’re greeted by round tables draped with black linens, with a purple table runner on top. With our Clear Chiavari Chairs and Black Pads surrounding the tables. In addition, the centerpieces included a 5 candle candelabra holder. As well as little coffins with the table numbers on them. The sweets table included all the spooky décor. Including hanging skulls, and skeleton plates holding treats. Many of the sweets for the night were on the theme being that they were shaped as ghosts or had cobwebs decorated on them. Last but not least, the T-rex Skelton in the room held a card in its mouth with their hashtag of Hallowedded.

Toasts, dancing and celebrating

The happy couple danced their way into the room and onto the black and white checkered floor for their first dance. Following that family and friends shared toasts and well wishes to the couple and their bright future. Music, dancing, and laughter carried on throughout the rest of the night. Guests enjoyed themselves and the interactive animated screen that contained dinosaurs. All in all, it was a perfect night and one that everyone will remember for a lifetime.

Glowing Send-off

To end the perfect night guests cracked their glow sticks and lit up the walkway as the bride and groom exited the building. Congratulations to the bride and groom on their amazing wedding day!
