Diana + Jeff
Rustic weddings are about creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere reflecting your love for the outdoors and timeless elegance. Lisa Lyons Events and Etiquette planned this Rustic Wedding at The Grand 721. Diana and Jeff’s dreams of having their barn wedding come true. With Root Photography behind the camera, let’s take a look at all the amazing memories captured of the day.
Getting ready
Nestled in the beach town of New Smyrna Beach Florida Diana and her bridesmaids gather at The Grand 721 to prepare for the big day. Included is a White Room suite for all brides, bridesmaids, and family members to get ready in. Inside the room is a full-length make-up bar and full-length mirrors. As well as a mimosa and coffee bar. Diana chose an elegant off-the-shoulder plunge neckline dress. Paired with a bejeweled, pointed-toe, flat shoe. As for her bridesmaids, a purple colored dress with a scoop neckline was chosen for each of them. In addition, they all carried a decadent white flower bouquet. As for the men they have the Whiskey room to prepare in. Jeff and his groomsmen wore blue suits with white undershirts and a purple tie.
The vows
Upon entering the chapel inside the venue, you’re greeted by a magnificent round wedding arch wrapped in white flowers as the center focal point. Our French Country Chairs line the aisle, along with more white flowers, and make the perfect walkway for the bride. It was an emotional ceremony with the groom shedding tears as he gazed upon his stunning bride walking down the aisle. Heartfelt vows were exchanged between the two, expressing their unwavering love for one another. Finally, they were announced husband and wife and he was able to pull her in and share that first kiss.
Rustic Reception
Undoubtedly the most exciting part of the night is the reception. Walking into the room you notice long wooden beams along the ceiling. Elegantly draped with white linens. As well as having bulbs hung all around to bring together that cozy feel. Then there was a mixture of long and round tables, with their centerpieces including candle sticks and bouquets of white flowers. Our French Country Chairs went around the tables nicely and our Gold Rim Chargers sat on top. Also added to the venue was a picture area, which included a couch and a sign reading ” It was always you”.
Toasts, Floats, and dancing
The newlyweds entered the room and the party began! The couple sat and listened to all the heartfelt toasts given by friends and family. Followed by sharing a first dance. Then, confetti was popped and everyone rushed to the dance floor and danced their heart out the rest of the evening. Lastly, as a sweet treat, they rented an ice cream truck! It was a hit and gave everyone a chance to cool down from dancing and enjoy a float, or ice cream cone. All in all, the night went on without a hitch and will be talked about for years to come.
Sparkling Send off!
To end the evening, sparklers were lit and the couple was sent on their way. Congratulations to the happy couple!
