A molecular bond
A chemistry-inspired wedding shoot can be the perfect blend of quirky and romantic, bursting with unique details that celebrate your love and passion for science. Runway Events planned the design for the day. Meanwhile, The Hons captured the photos for this inspiring wedding theme. Here’s an inside look at the Chemistry Styled Wedding at The Atlantic Center for the Arts.
Ceremony Details
This shoot incorporated a lot of nature as well as the science aspect. Firstly the bride and groom aren’t dressed in your typical wedding attire. The bride wears a more modest high-neck dress with sheer sleeves. While the groom dressed in a neutral plaid suit. The wedding was staged outside under a tall wooden structure, with greenery and trees as the backdrop. Small wooden stumps lined the aisle. A succulent and a test tube filled with herbs were placed on top and then surrounded by added leaves. Then to add detail to the chemistry-inspired aspect, test tubes were hung by string, and succulents or a white rose were placed inside.
Loves Perfect equation
A chemistry-inspired wedding shoot reception can be both fun and unique, celebrating your love for science and each other. Inside the Atlantic Center For Arts, the reception is laid out with a cart set up at the entrance. Sitting atop the cart are succulents and a test beaker with a white rose. In addition, there’s a microscope and microscope slides used for a seating chart. Walking into the reception area the neutral pallet continues. Our two White-washed sweetheart tables were placed in front of a wall of simplistic art. Centerpieces included simple greenery with succulents and beakers filled with white roses, ferns, and herbs. With an old vintage lamp atop a wooden stump as the center focal point. Plates sat on top of wooden placemats. Beside the placemats, lay our Doria Flatware. Tables were labeled with periodic table numbers.
Cake and Goodies
The sweet side of the chemistry table included candies, chocolate, and popcorn. In addition, a sign saying “you+ me = chemistry” was part of the décor. The cake design had 3 layers and was decorated with silver, white, and gold. The center layer had molecular structures of compound decorated all around. Two white flowers were placed onto the cake for an added touch.
Inspiration for all
In conclusion, we hope this styled shoot inspires couples to branch out. In other words, this was just a taste of the endless possibilities for your wedding day. That concludes our inside look into the Chemistry Styled Wedding at the Atlantic Center for The Arts at beautiful New Smyrna.
