It was a rainy day in Odessa, Florida, but Casie and Rajiv didn’t let that ruin their special day. Caroline Allen Photography captured some amazing photos of the couple in the rain and used the weather to their advantage. With coordinators Theresa Lacaillade and Hector Rodriguez, the day was planned perfectly, and guests had the time of their lives. Let’s look closer at this Rustic Wedding at The Barn at Crescent Lake.

Getting ready

Getting ready for your wedding day truly is one of the best experiences. You get to be pampered and spend time with the closest people in your life. To begin, Casie went with an elegant natural make-up look and styled her hair in a swept back-up do. Which also included pearl detailing throughout the hair, which paired nicely with the rest of her jewelry. Then for the dress, she chose a beautiful lace-detailed gown, with a flowy bottom that trailed out behind her. She looked stunning. As for the groom, he toasted with his groomsmen and celebrated while getting ready for the big day. His attire included a blue suit with brown shoes and a sage green tie, which tied together with the bridesmaids who were all wearing sage green dresses.

First look

Once ready, the couple is whisked away to have their first look together. With Rajiv having his back to his bride he waits in anticipation to turn around and look upon his wife-to-be. As the bride turns the groom, his eyes light up with joy and love. He sees the woman he’s about to marry, and his heart skips a beat. The bride, overcome with emotion, can’t help but smile as she gazes into her groom’s eyes. Their first look is a moment of pure, unadulterated happiness that will be cherished forever.

Saying I do

With the ceremony inside there was no need to worry about the rain. But with the arch in front of the open doors, it made for a nice view, while also having the pitter-patter of rain in the background. Rajiv made his way to the front of the aisle and turned to wait for his stunning bride to walk down the aisle. Once the music began and guests stood Casie was escorted down the aisle by her father. After sharing an embrace at the end he hands his daughter off to her future husband. Then the Officiant begins the ceremony, and the couple exchange vows and rings. In the end, he announces the couple as husband and wife and they share their first kiss.

The Details

Upon entering the reception, you see the gorgeous views of the lake which can be seen through all the floor-to-ceiling windows that are throughout the room. Chandeliers are hung amongst the room with the center also having white linens draped and cascading from the ceiling. Round tables are placed around the room and have white flowers and tall candles as their centerpieces. We provided the White Round China, Grayson Flatware, and Water Goblets that are placed on the tables.

The Party

The newlyweds enter the reception with beaming smiles on their faces, ready to start the party. Rajiv whisks his bride off to the dancefloor and leads her through their first dance. The couple twirl and sway to the music as friends and family watch them during this special moment. Next, it’s time for the dad and daughter dance as well as the dance between Rajiv and his mother. After, the couple sit at their wedding table at the front of the room and enjoy the toasts and speeches that their family and friends have prepared. Once finished everyone dines on all the delicious food and desserts. Then guests take to the dance floor and dance the night away!
