Dazzling Wedding at the Mission Resort and Club

Though it ended up being a rainy day, it was still one to remember. Vanessa and Derrick chose the beautiful Mission Resort and Club to host their wedding. Dreamscape photography captured all the sweet (and sometimes wet) moments of the day. Join us as we take a look back at everything that took place during the Dazzling Wedding at the Mission Resort and Club.

The big day prep

Here, amidst laughter, and maybe a few happy tears, the bride and her closest companions transform into the radiant versions of themselves they’ll present at the altar. She chose a stunning deep plunge neckline dress that had lace detailing throughout. Vanessa is also joined by her furry little friend who is dressed in his very own suit. She also shared a sweet first look moment with her father before the ceremony took place. Meanwhile, Derrick got ready with his friends and family and went with a white tux jacket and black pants. He paired it with a black bow tie.

The Vows

The ceremony took place inside the Mission Resort and Club venue. One by one the bridal party made their way down the aisle. They also had an adorable flower girl and ring bearer who were huge hits as they themselves strode down the aisle. Then as the doors open one last time Vanessa makes her entrance and begins her walk down the aisle to her future husband. Today, she walks down the aisle, not just as a beautiful woman, but as a woman in love, ready to pledge her forever to the one who holds her heart. The couple share their vows to one another and share their first kiss.

Reception

For the last big entrance of the night, the bride and groom are announced to everyone and dance their way into the reception. They are greeted by round tables covered in cream colored linens and surround by our Mahogany Chiavari chairs with ivory pads. The couple sat at a half-moon table draped in red and surrounded by flowers. Heartfelt toasts were given and the bride and groom had their first dance, along with the parents getting to share their first dance. For the cake, they chose a beautiful three-layer cake that was made by the one and only Le Petit Sweet. The rest of the night was spent on the dance floor. Their furry little friend also made his appearance during all the fun.
